International Financing Structures
It is common for multi-national groups to require financing in certain jurisdictions, and to have surplus funds in other jurisdictions. Through the appropriate use of international structures, and debt to equity ratios, financing can be allocated in the most tax effective way. This may involve creating inter-company loans, and charging interest in higher tax jurisdictions, while paying it to lower tax jurisdictions.
ITSG members can advise on various types of international financing structures for use within corporate groups.
