Professional Highlights
    Initially practiced with a leading Maltese audit firm between 1979 and 1982 following which joined the international audit firm Coopers & Lybrand (today Pricewaterhouse Coopers) in Milan and Rome for a total of nine years. During this period extensive experience was gained in auditing and management consulting for medium to large US, UK and Italian firms including multinational companies. The experience also included two years with the United Nations World Food Programme. This assignment involved the development of procedures for the organisation with specific reference to international emergencies and covered the famine crises in Ethiopia, Sudan and Chad as well as the Afghan refugee crises in Pakistan.

    Moved into international tax consultancy in 1991 and has advised international clients on tax planning for the past 17 years.
